This course will connect participants with a functions approach to algebra in high school math courses. Participants in this professional learning opportunity will engage in learning cycles that develop, solidify and practice mathematics from both function and algebra in a way that is seamless and significant for students.

• Dig deeper into Comprehensive Mathematics Instruction (CMI) Framework • Enlist stakeholders (parents, teachers, students, and administrators)

• Professional Development tasks to take and use: protocol for examining student work, practical implementation of the essential PLC questions, CMI as a tool for assessment and working with your teachers.
